Wednesday last (22nd April) was a sight to behold; 500 children from Scoil Niocláis royally entertained a packed City Hall. It was their celebratory concert to mark the opening of the new school buildings. Everyone was bursting with pride as the children entertained us with song, dance, drama and music. It was a most professional presentation and enormous credit to the children who were marvelously prepared by their very talented, creative and committed teachers and school staff.  Credit too and thanks is due to Liam Ryan of SuperValu, Grange who sponsored the night.

Miriam Kenny ably led the hardworking concert committee and it was a night to behold. The Lord Mayor, Councilor Mary Shields, who officially opened the concert said at the end it was a great privilege to be there.

Our talented pupils did themselves, their parents and our parish proud as they displayed the full range of their abilities and they clearly enjoyed the experience of performing on a wonderful stage to a City Hall full of family and friends. Well done to one and all, we are so very proud of you. Fr Christy and Fr Ben.
