CHANGE IN MASS SCHEDULE:  From the start of July 2022 there will no longer be a Saturday morning Mass at 10am.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Every Friday exposition of the Blessed Sacrament takes place in our church on the main altar from 10.30am until 2pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and spend some time in private prayer.

CONNECT 2: Almost 100 young people, aged between 18 to 35, from all over the Diocese, gathered in UCC in May for the CONNECT event. It was a wonderful day of great joy. The Diocese is delighted to announce CONNECT 2 will take place in UCC, on Sunday October 16th from 10.30am. Please save the date. It promises to be another great day. More details to follow and the opportunity to register. For now – just save the date!

SMA PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES: The Society of African Missions pilgrimage to Lourdes is on 17th – 22nd September 2022. Five nights, full board in Hotel Roissy, Cost: €789 per person sharing. For further information please contact: Fr. Martin Kavanagh SMA at 021-4292871

MASK WEARING: It is recommended to wear your mask in our church even though it’s not mandatory. Also please be mindful and sanitise your hands on entering and exiting our church.   
 
MASS BOOKINGS: Masses for August & September may be booked in the Parish Office, opening days/hours Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 10.30am – 12.30pm.
 

UNIVERSAL SYNOD 2023: The national synthesis has now been submitted to the Synod Secretariat in the Vatican as part of the global synodal process announced by Pope Francis for the Church to run from 2021 to 2023. The national synthesis can be read or downloaded from the diocesan website corkandross.org and follow the links.

ACTIVE RETIRED PROGRAMME: Grange/Frankfield Group – Wednesdays: Cuppa and chat after 10.30 Mass in the parish centre.

OFFERTORY COLLECTION: Last weekend amounted to €995, Feast of the Assumption €345. 2nd collection this weekend (20th/21st August) is the Church Refurbishment fund; thank you for your continued generosity.

    I attended mass at 4pm on Christmas Eve and I just wanted to thank everyone, who was involved. The singing, the flowers in the church, the crib and the entire mass was absolutely beautiful. Thank you, it was magnificent. Wishing you all a happy and peaceful New Year.
