CHANGE IN MASS SCHEDULE:  From the start of July 2022 there will no longer be a Saturday morning Mass at 10am.  

ANNUAL MASS IN ST JOHN’S CEMETERY, BALLINREA will take place on Wednesday, 3rd August, at 7.30pm; all welcome (please bring your own folding chair).

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Every Friday exposition of the Blessed Sacrament takes place in our church on the main altar from 10.30am until 2pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and spend some time in private prayer.

THE POPE’S MONTHLY INTENTION – For families: We pray for Christian families around the world that may they embody and experience unconditional love, and advance in holiness in their daily lives. Intercom

MASS IN REMEMBRANCE will be celebrated in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock this coming Wednesday  29th June at 7.30pm. Family members, friends and neighbours of all those buried in St. Michael’s Cemetery are invited to attend. Extra Parking in St. Michael’s GAA grounds. In the event of bad weather Mass will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church, Mahon.

The Annual Commemoration in honour of Fr Mathew will take place at St Joseph’s Cemetery, Tory Top Road, Ballyphehane on Tuesday 28th June at 7.30 pm. This event is organised by Cork Regional Pioneer Council. We look forward to the attendance of the Lord Mayor. There will be refreshments afterwards in Togher Community Centre on Togher Road. Beidh fáilte roimh cách. Everybody’s welcome. 
  

MASK WEARING: It is recommended to wear your mask in our church even though it’s not mandatory. Also please be mindful and sanitise your hands on entering and exiting our church.

MASS BOOKINGS: Masses for June, July, August & September may be booked in the Parish Office, opening days/hours Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 10.30am – 12.30pm. Exam Mass Intention cards are available in the office.

ACTIVE RETIRED PROGRAMME: Grange/Frankfield Group – Mondays  2pm – 3pm: Gentle Exercises Relaxation Cuppa and chat. 3pm – 4pm: Line Dancing. Tuesdays 2pm – 4pm – Art Group. Wednesdays: Cuppa and chat after 10.30 Mass; all events will be held in the parish centre.

OFFERTORY COLLECTION: Last weekend amounted to €880. 2nd collection for Church Refurbishment fund was €440. This weekend (25/26th June) 2nd Collection is for Peter’s Pence; thank you for your continued generosity.

    I attended mass at 4pm on Christmas Eve and I just wanted to thank everyone, who was involved. The singing, the flowers in the church, the crib and the entire mass was absolutely beautiful. Thank you, it was magnificent. Wishing you all a happy and peaceful New Year.
