EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT every Friday in our church on the main altar from 10.30am until 12.30pm; everyone is welcome to come along and spend some time in private prayer.

MASS BOOKINGS: Masses for February & March may now be booked in the parish office; opening hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.30am – 12.30pm.  

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK 2022 takes place this week starting Sunday 23rd January and concluding on Sunday 30th January. The theme this year is Catholic Schools Living Life To The Full. Let us remember all the staff, pupils and families who are involved in Scoil Niocláis during this week.

OFFERTORY COLLECTION last weekend, amounted to €990, 2nd collection for Diocesan Needs came to €520, 2nd collection this weekend, 23/24th January, is for the monthly Church Refurbishment; thank you for your continued generosity.

WEEKLY COLLECTION ENVELOPES: For parishioners already in the scheme, your 2022 box of envelopes are available for collection in the parish centre during normal opening hours.

PARISH TAX BACK SCHEME: If you pay income tax as a self- employed person or a PAYE worker and you contribute €250 or more in a year to the parish, the parish can claim back the tax on your contributions. This is at no extra cost to you and can be so important to the parish’s income. All you need to do is ask for a form; please complete the form and we’ll do the rest. Your information is confidential only to the secretary and treasurer of the parish finance committee.                                                                                                           

THE POPE’S MONTHLY INTENTIONS: We pray for all those suffering from religious discrimination and persecution; may their own rights and dignity be recognised, which originate from being brothers and sisters in the human family.


PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY: God of justice, grant me the wisdom to see right from wrong. Let my heart be guided by honesty and my lips speak truth. In times of doubt, cloak me in courage the colour of trust. Birth in me the passion for unity and peace so that I may be a good news bearer for all. Amen

Anam Cara Cork, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding it’s monthly Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Wednesday, 2nd February, at 7:20pm in the Clayton Hotel, Silver Springs, Cork City. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not. *Subject to change in accordance with government advise*
