Do this in Memory Mass

Starts: Saturday, November 23rd 2019 at 6:30 pm
Ends: Saturday, November 23rd 2019 at 7:20 pm

The next Do this in Memory Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 23rd November at the 6.30pm Saturday Vigil Mass.

All 2nd class children from Scoil Nioclais who will receive their First Holy Communion in May 2020, and their parents, are requested to attend.

Do This in Memory is a voluntary programme where, once a month at the 6.30pm Saturday night Vigil Mass during the months of October to June, we all gather together, the boys and girls from our parish who are preparing to celebrate their First Holy Communion, their families and our parish community. We look at different ways of what it means to be ‘in communion’ with the Lord and with each other.

It is incumbent on parents to do their best for their children by helping them to have a loving relationship with Jesus by allowing and encouraging them to be a part of the faith communityThis is best done by regular attendance at Mass.

Parents are strongly encouraged to continue to bring their children to Mass regularly. Children learn by example; by bringing them with you to Mass often they will learn that First Holy Communion is the beginning of a loving relationship with a God who loves and cares for them. What better gift can you give your children?

FIRST HOLY COMMUNIONS 2020: The girls and boys from Ms Keeshan & Ms O’Sullivan’s 2nd classes in Scoil Niocláis will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday, 16th May 2020. Mr. Flynn & Ms Ryan’s 2nd classes will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday, 23rd May 2020. The Masses will begin at 11am.
