SUNDAY DEVOTIONS: Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Rosary will take place in the Little Chapel at the back of the church this Sunday 16th February at 7pm.

NEW PARISH ASSEMBLY: A new parish assembly is being put in place. This weekend members of the outgoing assembly will be speaking at Masses about their time on the parish assembly. Would you consider being a member of the new parish assembly or do you know someone who would be interested? The nomination forms for the new parish assembly will be distributed next weekend at all Masses. You can nominate up to 3 people who are over 18.  You can also nominate yourself. Please provide contact details of the nominees if possible.

OFFERTORY COLLECTION last weekend (8/9th February) amounted to €1260, 2nd collection for the Lourdes Invalid Fund came to €940. This weekend (15/16th February) 2nd collection is for the monthly Church Refurbishment Fund; thank you for your continued generosity

Young Adults 18-15 are invited to join the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes as helpers to the sick and disabled. The pilgrimage will be led by Bishop Fintan Gavin and will travel from Cork from 12th to 17th June 2020. As a young adult helper you will be assisting with the sick in the hospital in the wards, kitchen or dining room, pushing wheelchairs to and from liturgies and Mass, participating yourself  in all the Masses and ceremonies of the pilgrimage, accompanying the sick and disabled in social time.  If you are interested please contact Fr Charlie Kiely on 021 4537474 for more details and booking form.

Anam Cara Cork, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Bereavement Support Evening on Tuesday 25th February at 7pm in the Rochestown Park Hotel, Rochestown Road, Douglas, Cork. The Irish Cancer Society operates a free Volunteer Driver Service that is available to patients attending the following hospitals for chemotherapy treatments; Cork University Hospital, The Mercy University Hospital & South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital. Volunteer drivers will pick a patient up at the door of their home, drop them at the hospital door and then when finished treatment, pick them up and drop them home again. All volunteer expenses are paid. Free DIY Service for Older People: Age Action’s Care & Repair programme is providing DIY work free of charge for older people in Cork. The service has been in operation since 2009 and is expanding year on year as demand grows. To inquire about the Care & Repair service or to request a job, simply call Age Action at their new office on the Model Farm Rd.
